Restoration and Repair

The aim of my studio is to carry out sympathetic restorations and repairs, to work closely with musicians to achieve a result they are happy with while preserving the integrity of the instrument.

Restoration and conservation are rapidly developing fields, I collaborate with fellow restorers across Britain and overseas in order to be able to provide my clients with the most up-to-date techniques.

I undertake the full range of repair and restoration from the more common and frequent repairs needed to keep your instrument in good working order, e.g. new bridges, shooting fingerboards, replacing worn pegs and retouching scratches, to the more extensive restoration such as soundpost patches, neck grafts and crack repairs.
